Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson will "more than likely" play in Thursday's preseason opener against the Kansas City Chiefs, according to head coach Bill O'Brien.
Watson has been making significant progress in his recovery from an ACL tear last season and seeing any form of playing time on Thursday is another step in the right direction. His reps are expected to be limited to one or two series with Brandon Weeden and Joe Webb playing the bulk of the game.
Our models project Watson for 3,845.8 passing yards, 30.6 passing touchdowns, 372.8 rushing yards, and 3.6 rushing touchdowns in 2018.
