Cowboys’ offense ‘a work in progressâ€
Dallas Cowboys offensive coordinator Scott Linehan said the offense is a "work in progress."
We’re still a work in progress, but we’re making strides," Linehan said. "But we’ve got to make strides quickly here.†Dak Prescott said the unit is "still trying to gain chemistry" in its first season without Jason Witten and Dez Bryant. To compensate at wideout, the Cowboys added Tavon Austin and Allen Hurns (groin) in free agency and spent a third-round pick on Michael Gallup. They've been using a committee approach at tight end.
Prescott is currently the QB17 in numberFire's preseason fantasy rankings.
