Bills reportedly acquire Corey Coleman from Browns for 2020 7th-round pick

The Buffalo Bills acquired wide receiver Corey Coleman from the Cleveland Browns for a seventh-round pick in 2020, reports ESPN's Adam Schefter

What It Means:

Coleman was selected by the Browns with the 15th overall pick in 2016 but a pair of broken hands has limited him to just 19 games during his two seasons in the league. He should see more volume in Buffalo than he would have in Cleveland, but it puts a dent into Kelvin Benjamin's fantasy outlook and likely means a reduced role for 2017 second-rounder Zay Jones (knee). For the Browns, fourth-round rookie Antonio Callaway and Rashard Higgins appear to be the favorites for the third receiving job, while Jeff Janis could also factor in.

numberFire's models project Coleman for 624.5 receiving yards and 3.92 touchdowns on 47.3 catches (93.5 targets) this season, which makes him the WR54 in our preseason fantasy rankings.
