Washington's Josh Doctson reportedly suffers minor shoulder injury at Wednesday's practice

Washington Redskins wide receiver Josh Doctson suffered an AC sprain and/or shoulder bruise in Wednesday's practice, reports Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

What It Means:

There was some concern after Doctson landed hard on his shoulder and immediately went into the team facility to get looked at, but it sounds like he managed to avoid a long-term injury. The 2016 first-round pick led Washington with 6 receiving touchdowns last year but didn't have more than 4 catches or 81 receiving yards in any contest.

numberFire's models currently project Doctson for 509.4 receiving yards and 3.33 touchdowns on 34.4 catches (75.4 targets) this season. He's tied with Danny Amendola as the 66th wide receiver in our 2018 preseason fantasy football rankings.
