Stefon Diggs reportedly signs 5-year extension with Vikings
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Stefon Diggs signed a five-year extension through 2023 that includes $40 million guaranteed, reports Adam Schefter of ESPN.
What It Means:
Diggs has failed to play more than 14 games in a season but he's shown WR1 upside at times when healthy. As Sam Monson (PFF_Sam) points out on Twitter, Diggs led the league last season in contested catch rate. The 2015 fifth-rounder and Adam Thielen give Kirk Cousins and the Vikings one of the most dynamic wide receiver duos in the league.
Diggs is the 14th wide receiver in numberFire's preseason fantasy rankings. Our models project him for 75.6 catches (115.3 targets), 1,029.6 yards, and 7.00 touchdowns.
