C.J. Prosise apparent leader for Seahawks' third-down job
Seattle Seahawks running back C.J. Prosise appears to be the leader for the two-minute, third-down back role, according to Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times.
Condotta said Prosise was with the ones during Sunday's two-minute drill and that the rising third-year back has been a "constant presence" on the field. Prosise was also praised by Seahawks offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer for his "outstanding" practice performance. Chris Carson has been working as the lead back and Rashaad Penny was drafted in the first round, so this figures to be a well-rounded committee.
Prosise currently falls outside of the top-70 running backs in numberFire's preseason fantasy rankings, as our models only have him pegged for 288.6 yards and 1.07 touchdowns on 56.8 touches (13.7 catches).
