Bears' rookie Anthony Miller 'steadily building' slot case

Chicago Bears second-round rookie wide receiver Anthony Miller is "steadily building a case to be the Bears' starting slot receiver for Week 1," writes Rich Campbell of the Chicago Tribune.

What It Means:

Campbell added that new Bears head coach Matt Nagy "moves receivers around and shuffles personnel groupings," so Miller will likely be used all over the field. Former player personnel executive Phil Savage tweeted that the 23-year-old rookie "is going to be an immediate contributor."

numberFire's models currently expect Miller to catch 43.2 passes (72.8 targets) for 539.7 yards and 2.99 touchdowns during his first year in the league.
