Tyler Eifert (back) guarantees status for Bengals in Week 1
Cincinnati Bengals tight end Tyler Eifert (back) said on Thursday he is "100 percent" certain he will play in Week 1.
Eifert is on the active/PUP list but can be taken off at any time. “There is no setback,†Eifert told The Enquirer. “I’m feeling good. This is just the route we chose to take.†The Bengals are understandably going to take a conservative approach with a player that has been limited to 10 games by injuries over the past two seasons.
If he manages to play 16 games, numberFire's models currently project him for 67.3 catches (96.7 targets), 671.7 yards, and 6.05 touchdowns in 2018. He's the TE9 in our preseason fantasy rankings.
