Carson Wentz still expects to play for Eagles in opener
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz (knee) remains on track to play in Week 1 against the Atlanta Falcons.
What It Means:
"I like where we’re at right now," Wentz said Thursday. "We have a good plan." The next step is for him to be cleared for contact next week but the expectation is he will be under center for the opener.
numberFire's models project Wentz to throw for 3,980.3 yards with 27.81 touchdowns and 10.0 interceptions, in addition to 311.6 yards and 3.05 touchdowns on the ground. He's the 7th-ranked quarterback in our preseason fantasy rankings.
