Packers' Aaron Rodgers would 'love to play to 40'

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers said he would "love to play to 40."

What It Means:

“I just think that number means a lot," Rodgers, who turns 35 in December, explained. "Obviously, Tom [Brady] is kind of rewriting the book. Brett [Favre] had a good season when he turned 40. My goal is be able to move like I do or close to how I do and still be able to do that at 40." Rodgers is expected to sign a long-term extension before the season starts.

Rodgers is the QB1 in numberFire's preseason fantasy rankings. We project him to throw for 4,621.0 yards with 37.69 touchdowns and 7.6 interceptions, as well as rush for 322.4 yards and 3.01 touchdowns.
