Seattle Seahawks safety Kam Chancellor has announced his retirement from the NFL.
Chancellor recently received news that he is not healing from his neck injury, and that continuing to play would include a risk of paralysis. The 30-year-old played his entire eight-year career in Seattle.
Chancellor racked up 434 tackles, 12 interceptions, 50 pass defenses and 9 forced fumbles over 109 games in his NFL career.
