Jimmy Smith (Achilles) doing individual work at Ravens' minicamp
Baltimore Ravens cornerback Jimmy Smith (Achilles') is participating in individual drills at minicamp.
It's only been six months since Smith had surgery to repair a ruptured Achilles, so his return to the field on Wednesday is a bit surprising. While he's only doing individual drills, it's a good sign that he'll be ready for training camp and the start of the regular season.
The Ravens ranked 3rd-best in Defensive Net Expected Points last season at -42.11.
