Buccaneers' sophomore Chris Godwin emerging as playmaker
Tampa Bay Buccaneers second-year wide receiver Chris Godwin is making "a lot of plays every day," says Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times.
Godwin finished his rookie campaign strong and it looks like he's carried that performance over into the offseason. Buccaneers offensive coordinator Todd Monken previously said Godwin has earned the right to start, so he could see plenty of opportunity in three-wide sets this upcoming season.
numberFire's models currently project Godwin to catch 31.1 passes (53.1 targets) for 395.5 yards and 1.86 touchdowns in his second NFL season.
