David Johnson officially absent from Cardinals' minicamp
Arizona Cardinals running back David Johnson is officially absent from minicamp.
Johnson and the Cardinals are in talks for a long-term extension as the back is scheduled to earn $1.88M in the final year of his rookie contract. DJ wants some financial security after losing nearly the entire 2017 season due to injury. Expect the two sides to come to an agreement before the start of the season.
Our models project Johnson for 1,855.0 total yards and 13.2 touchdowns on 360.9 touches (79.7 receptions) in 2018.
