Odell Beckham not expected to do team drills at Giants' mini camp
New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham (ankle) is not expected to participate in team drills this week, according to NFL Network's Kim Jones.
Nothing has changed in regards to Beckham's timeline, so this is just the Giants playing it extra safe with their star receiver coming off major surgery. OBJ will likely be slowly brought along, as the team will limit his offseason reps a lot in hopes that he can be ready to practice at 100 percent by the time training camp comes around next month. Coach Pat Shurmur recently said that Beckham is, "pretty close," to being 100 percent.
numberFire's early models project Beckham to catch 99.0 passes (166.5 targets) for 1,351.1 yards and 9.2 touchdowns in 2018.
