Eagles' Carson Wentz (knee) expected to be ready for Week 1
According to Chris Mortensen of ESPN, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz (knee) is likely to be ready to play in Week 1 of the 2018 NFL season.
Wentz has been making significant progress in his recovery from a knee injury late in the 2017 season and appears to be on track to make a full recovery by the start of the upcoming season. He is not expected to play in the preseason with Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles ready just n case Wentz cannot give it a go on September 6 versus the Atlanta Falcons.
Our models project Wentz for 3,980.3 passing yards and 27.8 touchdowns while adding 311.6 rushing yards and 3.1 touchdowns on the ground in 2018.
