The Los Angeles Chargers are expected to use more three-wideout sets after the season-ending injury to tight end Hunter Henry (knee).
Of all players, Mike Williams could benefit the most from this movement. He and Tyrell Williams were expected to battle it out for second receiver reps opposite Keenan Allen. However, all three shouldn't have trouble finding the field frequently, with Henry done and Antonio Gates gone.
In his rookie year, Williams played 10 games and caught 11-of-23 targets for 95 yards.
