Per WKBW's Joe Buscagalia, Buffalo Bills wide receiver Zay Jones underwent knee surgery last week and will miss the remainder of the team's offseason program.
In speaking to the media Thursday morning, head coach Sean McDermott announced the news. He said, "Best for us to get this done now," adding that there is no timetable for his return. If his status for Week 1 is in any kind of jeopardy, either Jeremy Kerley or Andre Holmes would be the likely candidates for more snaps on the outside.
In 2017, Jones turned 74 targets into 27 catches, 316 yards and 2 touchdowns as a rookie.
