Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz (ACL) told Good Morning Football his "goal is to be ready Week 1."
Wentz added that "rehab has been great" and "everything is going well" as the Eagles' franchise quarterback continues to work his way back from a torn ACL. If Wentz doesn't meet his goal, then Super Bowl LII MVP Nick Foles will likely open the season under center for Philadelphia.
Wentz averaged 22.2 FanDuel points per game as a sophomore while throwing for 3,296 yards and 33 touchdowns with 7 interceptions, in addition to 229 scoreless rushing yards.
