Denver Broncos select WR Courtland Sutton with the 40th pick
The Denver Broncos have selected SMU wide receiver Courtland Sutton with the 40th pick of the 2018 NFL Draft.
Sutton was thought by many to be a first-round talent, so the Broncos must have been thrilled to see him still available with the 40th pick. He should be a welcome addition to a Denver team that ranked second to last in passing offense in 2017, by our metrics.
The 6'4" Sutton caught 68 passes for 1,085 yards and 12 touchdowns for the Mustangs in 2017.
