Carolina Panthers wide receiver Curtis Samuel (ankle) doesn't have a "timetable," head coach Ron Rivera said.
Samuel is recovering from ankle surgery he underwent in November. “I know they’ve gotten him running around a little bit,†Rivera said on Tuesday. "Not a lot of cutting and breaking right now. I think they’re just slowly working him back in that process." Last year's second-round pick turns 22 in August and will likely be the fourth pass-catching option in Carolina next season, behind Greg Olsen, Devin Funchess, and Torrey Smith.
Samuel averaged 3.2 FanDuel points in nine games (four starts) as a rookie, with 15 catches (26 targets) for 115 scoreless yards.
