Raiders reportedly releasing Michael Crabtree
The Oakland Raiders released wide receiver Michael Crabtree, reports Adam Schefter of ESPN.
The move saves the Raiders a little north of $7.7 million against the cap, which is going to Jordy Nelson as part of his new 2-year, $15 million contract. Crabtree turns 31 in September but he's caught at least 8 touchdowns in each of the past three seasons and remains one of the better end-zone threats in the league.
Crabtree averaged 11.0 FanDuel points in 14 games last season, with 58 catches (101 targets) for 618 yards and 8 touchdowns.
