The Miami Dolphins are releasing defensive lineman Ndamukong Suh, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
The team was hoping to find a trade partner for the five-time Pro Bowler, but nothing materialized. Suh will not be free to join a team of his pleasing as the Dolphins shed more cap space with his release. As one of the game's premier defensive tackles, he should command a lot of suitors on the open market.
In 2017, Suh accounted for 29 tackles, 5 sacks, 2 forced fumbles and 2 passes defensed over 16 starts.
