The Browns' pursuit of free agents like Nate Solder served as foreshadowing for today's decision. Befoe making his announcement, Thomas spoke highly of the team's future, however, they'll have to fill the void left by a Pro Bowl talent and veteran presence in the locker room. Thomas will give up his $3 million roster bonus.
