Browns sign Carlos Hyde to three-year deal
The Cleveland Browns have signed running back Carlos Hyde to a three-year deal, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Rapoport is reporting that Hyde's deal is for three years and $15 million. He'll get $6 million in year one as he looks to restart fresh with a new team. Hyde figures to be the early-down back with Duke Johnson serving as the third-down and passing-down specialist.
In his last season with the 49ers, Hyde started all 16 games, and he totaled 1,290 yards and 8 touchdowns on 299 touches.
