49ers, Marquise Goodwin agree to three-year extension
According to ESPN's Josina Anderson, the San Francisco 49ers and wide receiver Marquise Goodwin have agreed to a three-year extension worth $20.3 million.
Anderson's reporting that the deal includes $10 million in guaranteed money. The extension will keep him wrapped up until 2021, while it also serves as a giant improvement on the two-year, $8 million deal he signed last year. The 27-year-old connected with Jimmy Garoppolo and will serve as the team's number-one until further notice. At worst, he'll be a speedy and effective pass-catcher on the outside.
In 2017, Goodwin turned 105 targets into 56 catches, 962 yards and 2 touchdowns. Of those, 29 of his catches, 384 yards and 1 score came with Garoppolo under center.
