Cameron Meredith (knee) remains without a timetable for Chicago

Chicago Bears wide receiver Cameron Meredith (knee) remains without a timetable for a return to football-related activities, per general manager Ryan Pace.

What It Means:

Meredith tore his ACL back in August and is expected to be ready to participate in training camp come July. What his role will be on the Bears for the 2018 season is another story. The team is linked to nearly every big name free agent wideout (Allen Robinson, Jarvis Landry, Sammy Watkins) as the team looks to build a stable of weapons for franchise quarterback Mitch Trubisky in 2018.

Meredith missed all of the 2017 but racked up 66 catches, 888 yards, and 4 touchdowns in the 2016 season.
