Patriots exercise option on Kenny Britt's contract
The New England Patriots have picked up the 2018 option on the contract of wide receiver Kenny Britt.
This locks Britt up with the Pats for at least one more year. New England signed him in December after he was released by the Cleveland Browns. With the Patriots deep at wideout, there's also a chance that Britt ends up being released before the 2018-19 season begins.
Britt is coming off an awful season, having turned 43 targets into only 20 receptions, 256 yards and 2 touchdowns.
