Alshon Jeffery, Eddie Royal both inactive for Bears
Alshon Jeffery (hamstring) and Eddie Royal (ankle) are both inactive for the Chicago Bears' Week 5 game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
With the two top receivers for the Bears out, Marquess Wilson and Josh Bellamy project to start. Cameron Meredith and Marc Mariani backing them up. Tight end Martellus Bennett and running back Matt Forte figure to be quarterback Jay Cutler's top options on the day.
Forte ranks 12th in raw Reception Net Expected Points (NEP) among running backs with at least 20 opportunities through Week 4. Bennett is the fifth-best in Reception NEP among tight ends with at least 10 opportunities.
