Tyler Eifert (back) cleared for Bengals' OTAs
Cincinnati Bengals impending free agent tight end Tyler Eifert (back) has been cleared for OTAs, reports Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Eifert lasted just two games last season before landing on injured reserve with a lingering back injury that required a third operation in October. He also underwent surgery to remove a cyst from his knee in November. The 27-year-old tight end has been limited to just 10 games over the past two seasons and a total of 39 over his five-year career.
Eifert led all tight ends and was tied for 4th in the league with 13 touchdowns in 2015, while also hauling in 52 catches (74 targets) for 615 receiving yards.
