Blake Bortles reportedly agrees to 3-year, $54 million deal with Jaguars

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles has signed a new three-year, $54 million contract, reports Adam Schefter of ESPN.

What It Means:

Bortles was already under team control through 2019, but this new deal adds on another year and is worth up to $66.5 million with incentives, including $26.5 million guaranteed. With the Jaguars no longer in the market for a quarterback, it remains to be seen where Kirk Cousins will land in free agency.

Bortles averaged 16.2 FanDuel points per game last season, with 3,687 passing yards, 21 touchdowns, and 13 interceptions. He added an additional 322 rushing yards and 2 scores on the ground.
