Karlos Williams officially ruled out for Bills in Week 5
Buffalo Bills running back Karlos Williams (concussion) has been ruled out for Week 5 against the Tennessee Titans.
Williams wasn't able to clear concussion protocol, so he'll look forward to a potential Week 6 return now. Anthony Dixon will get the start in Williams' place, though he is also rumored to be a bit hobbled. Boom Herron is the other healthy back on the roster.
This is a tough blow for Williams, who has gotten off to a fast start in his rookie season. He is second in the league in Rushing Net Expected Points per play among the 54 running backs with at least 20 carries. When he does return, Williams has earned at least another look as the feature back of the offense.
