The Miami Dolphins have placed the franchise tag on wide receiver Jarvis Landry.
Per Pro Football Talk, the team tagging Landry on the very first day possible is "being interpreted as a desire" to trade the wideout. Usually these decisions work their way into March. For that reason, this report could be on to something. Still, finding a suitor would be complicated, as the team would likely ask Landry to sign off on a long-term contract.
On 161 targets, Landry went for 112 catches, 987 yards and 9 touchdowns a season ago.
