Chris Culliver and DeAngelo Hall miss Washington practice Friday
Washington cornerbacks Chris Culliver and DeAngelo Hall both missed practice Friday, according to Master Tesfatsion of the Washington Post.
Culliver has missed each practice this week as he continues to recover from a knee injury he suffered last Wednesday. He was able to play in Week 4, but he was less than 100 percent. Hall has been dealing with a toe injury the entire season that forced him to miss the season opener. Neither player is a lock to play Sunday.
This is a bad combo for a team facing Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones. Jones enters Week 5 ranked second in the league in Reception Net Expected Points (NEP) at 42.50. Even with Hall and Culliver in the lineup, Washington is 22nd in Adjusted Defensive Passing NEP per play. Our projections see Jones catching 7 passes for 109 yards and 0.78 touchdowns.
