The Jacksonville Jaguars are expected to use the franchise tag on wide receiver Allen Robinson if the two sides can't come to a long-term deal.
Robinson's looking for a long-term deal and has been noting that his ACL injury is "not really an issue." However, ESPN's Mike DiRocco expects the Jaguars to be looking for a "one-year, incentive-laden deal." The franchise tag doesn't carry incentives and is a bit more pricey, but it would give the Jags some time to figure out if Robinson will be healthy moving forward.
Limited by the injury, Robinson caught 1 ball for 17 yards in 2017. He had 73 catches, 883 yards and 6 touchdown catches in 2016.
