Jason Garrett confirms Joseph Randle still Cowboys' starter
Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett confirmed running back Joseph Randle will remain the starter.
Randle saw his usage decline last week after nearly fumbling on the goal line. He finished the game with only 11 carries for 26 yards, his lowest usage of the season.
Despite a three-touchdown performance in Week 3, Randle's analytics still aren't overly favorable. He sits 28th in Rushing Net Expected Points (NEP) out of the 54 running backs who have had at least 20 carries. His teammate, Darren McFadden, is 24th in that same category. Lance Dunbar's season-ending injury gives Randle some additional security, but that doesn't mean he's irreplaceable in the offense.
