Andrew Luck

Colts' Andrew Luck expected to sit Thursday night

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck (questionable, shoulder) is expected to miss Thursday night's game against the Houston Texans, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports.

What It Means:

Rapoport said Luck will test his arm before the game, but the plan is for Matt Hasselbeck to start. Hasselbeck played well against the Jaguars last week, but Luck sitting is obviously a downgrade for all the Colts' skill players. With 10 days off before the Patriots in Week 6, hopefully this is the last contest Luck is forced to miss.

Luck currently ranks 22nd in Passing Net Expected Points Per Play at 0.08. Donte Moncrief, Dwayne Allen, T.Y. Hilton, Phillip Dorsett and Cody Fleener all lose value if Luck sits.
