Steelers' Le'Veon Bell: Priority is guaranteed money
Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell said "guarantees" is his main priority in contract negotiations.
When asked about his contract situation on Friday, Bell said, "Yeah, a lot of it is about the guarantees." He spoke about the security of a long-term deal including guaranteed money. However, he added that he's changed his mind on being franchise-tagged, and that he would not hold out if he is tagged again for 2018. He said, "Absolutely" in response to whether he'd accept a deal with $50 million in guaranteed money.
While amassing 1,946 total yards, Bell finished 8th among running backs with 30.93 Net Expected Points in the 2018 season.
