Texans rule out wide receivers Nate Washington and Cecil Shorts for Thursday
The Houston Texans have ruled wide receivers Nate Washington and Cecil Shorts out for Thursday's game against the Indianapolis Colts.
Both are dealing with ailments originating in the team's Week 4 contest. This will likely lead to additional usage for rookies Keith Mumphery and Jaelen Strong.
Mumphery is a mighty intriguing option in daily fantasy for Week 5. He was targeted seven times last week, and his 12 targets this year have been converted to 7.29 Reception Net Expected Points (NEP). The Colts enter Week 5 ranked 25th in Adjusted Defensive Passing NEP per play. At only $5,000 on FanDuel, he should be on your radar for games on the Thursday slate.
