Joe Thomas suggests next season would be his last with Browns
Cleveland Browns left tackle Joe Thomas hinted he will not sign a new contract with the Browns.
“No matter what I decide to do, this is the last year of my contract in Cleveland," Thomas said. "I’m also 33 right now. They need to be planning for somebody else pretty soon down the line whether it’s this year or next year.†The veteran left tackle missed the first snaps of his career due to a triceps injury this season and still hasn't committed to returning for what would be a 12th NFL campaign.
The Browns finished the regular season ranked 28th in Adjusted Offensive Net Expected Points per play.
