Kiko Alonso, Mychal Kendricks miss Eagles' practice again Wednesday
Philadelphia Eagles linebackers Mychal Kendricks and Kiko Alonso will miss practice again Wednesday, according to Eliot Schorr-Parks of NJ.com.
Alonso has missed each of the past two games, and Kendricks didn't play Week 4. Kendricks is dealing with a hamstring strain that makes his status for Week 5 questionable, while Alonso is still recovering from a partially torn ACL.
Being without these two would put a dent in the Eagles' run defense. They are currently 10th in Adjusted Defensive Rushing Net Expected Points (NEP) per play. Their Week 5 opponent in the New Orleans Saints are 12th in Adjusted Rushing NEP per play, meaning that running back Mark Ingram could have additional space to gallop if Alonso and Kendricks are, indeed, forced to sit out again.
