Arians expects Andre Ellington (PCL) to play for Cardinals Sunday
Arizona Cardinals coach Bruce Arians expects running back Andre Ellington (PCL) to return Sunday against the Detroit Lions.
Ellington seemed to pick up where he left off last year in terms of efficiency. In 2014 he had the lowest Rushing Net Expected Points in the league, and so far to open 2014 he has the lowest mark on the Cardinals with a -1.75. Detroit's run defense has been stout, ranking eighth in adjusted Defensive Rushing NEP, so don't expect a hobbled Ellington to put up big numbers.
