Colts taking it 'day-to-day' with Andrew Luck
Indianapolis Colts head coach Chuck Pagano said the team will "take it day-to-day" with quarterback Andrew Luck (shoulder).
Pagano said, "He was trending in the right direction throughout the course of the week. We were going to evaluate him, see how he felt. Just wasn’t ready." The team started Matt Hasselbeck in their Week 4 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars after deciding Luck wasn't ready on Sunday morning.
That the decision came down to Sunday speaks well for Luck's outlook in the near future, but there's no guarantee he will be ready on a short week for Thursday's game. Pagano said Luck will work out Monday to see how far he is in his recovery.
