Packers' Clay Matthews recovering from knee scope
Green Bay Packers linebacker Clay Matthews underwent a "cleanup" procedure on his knee a week ago.
What It Means:
Matthews underwent the scope shortly after the end of the season. At 31 years old, the pass-rush specialist will enter the final season of a five-year deal. He's due $11.4 million, but the team's new management team could ask him to restructure his deal.
In 14 starts, Matthews notched 28 tackles, 9 sacks and 1 forced fumble in 2017.
