ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports Andrew Luck (shoulder) is out for the Indianapolis Colts' Week 4 against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
With the Colts facing a less-daunting adversary this week, apparently the team thought it was smart to not risk Luck's long-term health. He had a private walkthrough with the team this week, but apparently this wasn't enough to convince them to start him. Veteran Matt Hasselbeck will get the nod in his stead.
In terms of per-play schedule-adjusted Defensive Net Expected Points, the Jaguars rank 27th in the league. If there's any day that spot-starting the ancient vet won't hurt the Colts, it's today. With this news, we project T.Y. Hilton outside of our top-10 - and Donte Moncrief outside of our top-30 - at wide receiver.
