Green Bay Packers receiver Davante Adams (ankle) is listed as questionable for Week 4 against the San Francisco 49ers.
Adams isn't expected to play despite the questionable tag. Coach Mike McCarthy said there's only a "slight chance" he'll be active. With Adams sidelined, Ty Montgomery is going to see an expanded role, and James Jones will see a bump in value, as well.
After Jordy Nelson went down, the No. 2 role was supposed to belong to Adams. It hasn't played out that was as a gimpy ankle and ineffective play has resulted in Jones becoming second on Aaron Rodgers' totem pole. Adams has just nine grabs for 92 yards thus far. We project him for 34 receptions, 402 yards and 2 scores the rest of the way, assuming this ankle injury doesn't force him to miss significant time.
