The Miami Dolphins are expected to give quarterback David Fales some playing time in Week 17.
Jay Cutler will start, but he's unlikely to play the entire game for Miami. The team's expected to give Fales, a second-year quarterback, some snaps to see what they have. Matt Moore is on an expiring contract, so Fales could serve as Ryan Tannehill's backup if he proves to be a worthy candidate.
In 2 career games, the 27-year-old Fales has completed 2-of-6 passes for 22 yards. He costs $6,000 on Week 17's slate.
