Seahawks' Chris Carson (leg, I.R.) has resumed running

Seattle Seahawks running back Chris Carson (leg, I.R.) has resumed running, and could return to practice next week.

What It Means:

Carson suffered a setback last week, but is apparently running again, and is progressing in his recovery from a broken leg. He's trending towards practicing next week, although coach Pete Carroll admitted that may still be overly optimistic. It appears unlikely that Carson will be able to return during the regular season, but he could potentially help the Seahawks if they make the playoffs.

Carson averaged 9.1 FanDuel points across four games before the injury, with 49 carries for 208 rushing yards and 7 catches for 59 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.
