Packers' Aaron Rodgers 'preparing to play' against Panthers

According to Packers.com's Wes Hodkiewicz, Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy said quarterback Aaron Rodgers is "preparing to play this week."

What It Means:

It's one thing for Rodgers to be cleared -- which he has been -- but it's another to be ready to play after missing extended time. But McCarthy made it clear that they're going to get him ready and that's he's already been "preparing for this moment." Brett Hundley will return to the bench and act as Rodgers' backup against the Carolina Panthers.

At a price of $8,500, Rodgers is projected for 269.4 yards, 1.5 touchdowns and 0.9 interceptions in his return. His projected 18.3 FanDuel points rank 16th among all quarterbacks in Week 15.
