Danny Amendola leads Patriots with 6 catches, 76 yards in loss
New England Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola caught 6 passes (9 targets) for 76 yards in a 27-20 loss to the Miami Dolphins on Monday Night Football in Week 15.
Amendola was stopped short at the one-yard line and kept out of the end zone for a third consecutive game, but he led the Patriots in the other three receiving categories on Monday night while topping 70 yards for the first time since Week 5. Amendola benefitted from Rob Gronkowski's one-game suspension, but he may not see as many targets against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 15.
Amendola scored 10.6 FanDuel points in Week 14, and he's averaging 7.9 FanDuel points per game this season. In Week 15, numberFire's models project Amendola for 3.8 targets, 2.8 receptions, 34.8 yards, and 0.31 touchdowns.
